According to media reports, in November, Germany's new passenger car registrations totaled 245,701 vehicles, a 5.7% year-on-year decrease. As of now, Germany's cumulative new car registrations for 2023 amount to 2,602,726 vehicles, showing an 11.4% year-on-year growth.

Meanwhile, in the electric car sector, due to the German government cutting incentives related to Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) witnessing a continuous 11-month decline, electric car sales in Germany experienced a downturn in November.
In November, electric car sales in Germany reached 63,066 vehicles, down 39% year-on-year, with a market share of 25.7%. Among these, BEV sales were 44,942 vehicles, down 22%, holding an 18.3% market share; PHEV sales were 18,124 vehicles, down 59%, with a market share of 7.4%.
By the end of November, Germany's cumulative electric car sales for 2023 amounted to 627,395 vehicles, down 5% year-on-year, with a market share of 24.1%. Cumulatively, BEV sales were 469,565 vehicles, up 28%, with a market share of 18%; PHEV sales were 157,830 vehicles, down 46%, with a market share of 6.1%.
